Founded in 1881 as a foundation for a good cause, Stift Tilbeck today offers a variety of services for disabled and elder persons like residential facilities for people with disabilities, workshops for disabled persons, and inclusive business and care facilities for the elderly. Over the course of time, the private sanatorium for children with epilepsy became a modern enterprise with a wide range of services for young and old.

AIAS Bologna Onlus is an organization of persons with disabilities and caregivers based in the city of Bologna (Italy). It was established more than 55 years ago and has thus a longstanding experience in working for the improvement of the lives of people with disabilities of all ages. With approximately 100 staff members we operate different services (day and residential care centers, home care, social-educational rehabilitation services, educational groups, leisure time activities) and specialized services in the field of technology and disability, namely independent Assistive Technology (AT) centers.
